Sure-Find Investigations

Frequently Asked Questions

1.  Will my partner know or be able to find out that I am having them followed?
Our Investigators are highly trained and skilled in what they do, therefore nobody should ever know that they are being watched or followed. Our Investigators would never risk being identified and will always abort a surveillance if they feel that a subject is nervous or suspicious. We will often use more than one Investigator when observing someone.

2.  If I ask you to trace someone for me, will they be told that I am looking for them?
No, trace subjects are never contacted directly unless specifically requested.

3,  What information do you require to trace somebody?
Naturally, the more information you can provide the better. We require full name as a minimum, but also last known address, date of birth, national insurance number, names of family and friends and employment details would also be very useful.

4.  What information will you need if I want to have my partner followed?
We will require as much information as you can provide. This will include some, or all of the following:

 Name
Photograph and details of any distinguishing features
 Employment details
 Details of friends and family
Vehicle details, including reg. no. make, model, colour and any distinguishing features (dents, scratches, badges etc)
Details of hobbies and any clubs attended
Details of places frequented (pubs etc)
Details of any public transport that may be used
Details of anybody that you suspect may be involved with your partner

5.  How long do private investigations take?
We always aim to complete any investigation in the shortest time possible. Trace enquiries can usually be completed within two weeks and on occasions can be completed within 24 hours. If we are carrying out observations/surveillances we agree a timescale with you when we receive your instruction. Very often people do not do things when you want or expect them to, this means that a surveillance may have to be re-scheduled on occasions. We cannot always guarantee how long it will take to collect the evidence you require but you will be kept updated at all times and are free to contact us whenever you wish.

6. What are your charges?
We have several different pricing structures, dependent on the type and amount of work required. We can charge an hourly rate, or negotiate a fixed fee to cover an entire case.  Our rates are very competitive.

7. Will I need to pay a deposit?
Sometimes a deposit will be required. A surveillance operation takes a lot of time and planning. We also need to consider what type of evidence is required and what equipment we will need to obtain it. In these situations you may be asked for a deposit to cover our initial costs. The balance will be required on completion of the investigation.

8. Will your Investigators attend court to give evidence?
Yes, although this will incurr a low nominal charge.

9. Can you produce evidence that will be accepted in court?
Yes, our Investigators are highly trained and have access to a wide range of equipment. All evidence provided will be of the highest standard and quality.

10 Are you able to track vehicles?
Yes, we have a range of tracking devices that are suitable for this purpose.

11.  What types of evidence can you provide?
We will provide photographic, audio, video and hand written reports as a matter of course. However, we must stress that evidence is only obtained legally.
